Pnömotoraks Plörodezisinde Corynebacterium Parvum ile Sonuçlarımız

The results of Corynebacteium parvum pleurodesis in thirteen of pneumothoraks cases were rewieved retrospectively. The patients were between the ages of 18-72 (mean 43.8) and female, male ratio was 2:11. Good results was achieved in all cases. In two cases, a second pleurodesis was necessary. The patients were followed up 2 to 27 months and one recurrence was developed and was treated surgically because of a ruptured bulla. Recurrene rate was found to be 7.7 and the proedure seemed to be effective with minimal side effects.
