Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leakage due to dura laceration is a rare complication in thoracic surgery which may result in low tension, headache, meningitis, and secondary pneumocephalus. A 53 year-old female was operated on for located a tumor which was radiating into the intervertebral foramen in posterior mediastinum. On the operation, CSF leakage was occured because of laseration of dura. Fibrin glue and muscle-fascia greft was used for dural defect. After this procedure, CSF through the chest tube disappeared. Postoperative course was uneventful and histopathological examination was schwannoma. This case indicates the extraordinary use of fibrin glue excepting the frequent useage sides in thoracic surgery was presented and discussed with literature .
