The incidence of emergency surgery is on the rise for left main coronary artery stenosis. Thymomas are defined as anterior mediastinal neoplasms composed of thymic epithelial cells and lymphocytes. A 58-year-old male patient was submitted to emergency coronary bypass surgery with the diagnosis of severe left coronary artery stenosis following admission with acute coronary syndrome. After the sternotomy procedure, an anterior mediastinal mass measuring 6x6 cm was detected. Coronary bypass surgery was performed following total excision of the mass. Histopathologic examination of the mass was reported as thymoma.
