Blunt chest trauma frequently occurs in motor vehicle accidents. These accidents may occasionally cause cardiac injury. Blunt cardiac injuries can be easily overlooked and when not recognized, may be life-threatening for the patients. Pulmonary vein injuries may rarely coexist after this kind of accidents. In this article we report a case with right superior pulmonary vein injury which occured following a work accident and was succesfully treated by surgery.
