ECG triggered mangetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings were compared with the results of echocardiography, catheterization and angiographic images in congenital heart diseases as a preliminary study. T1 weighted spin echo magnetic resonance imaging was found usefull in demostrating the morphology and cine gradient echo magnetic resonance images were effective in identifying flow changes.
