Progress in clinical experience and immunosupressive regiments increases durability of the grafts and patients that undervent renal transplantation. Transplanted patients reaches the same guality of life as normal population and the same risk faktors for atherosclerotic heart disease.

At the University of Akdeniz Medical School a patient with functioning renal allograft evaluated for atherosclerotic heart disease and left ventricular apical and anteroateral aneurysm and coronary artery disease detected. The patient underwent CABG and aneurysm and coronary artery disease detected. The patient underwent CABG and aneurysmectomy with success.

Our opinion is that, patients with functioning renal allografts can be operated safely and successfuly for cardiac diseases.
