We reviewed 50 pulmonary resections that consist of pneumonectomy (W), lobectomy (18), segmentectomy (1) and wedge resections (21) with surgical staplers. 45 cases were male, 5 cases were female, median age was 43,2 ± 0,2. We experienced eight complications postoperatively. One of them was related to stapler usage. We conclude that pulmonary resections are made easier and faster with surgical stapler and complications which are related to stapler are negligible.
