Various aneurysmal transformations can be observed in
the coronary arterial system. Such transformations are
caused either by acquired or hereditary factors. Coronary
arterial aneurysms are rare and are usually discovered
during the cardiac catheterization procedures carried out
for other reasons. Although the isolated coronary arterial
aneurysm is usually asymptomatic, in rare cases it can
manifest itself through acute or chronic symptoms which
are different from the symptoms of the accompanying
cardiac diseases. Such rare cases are related with the aneurysms
complications. We have successfully carried out a
simultaneous coronary bypass together with aneurysm
ligation operation on a patient with coronary heart disease
and an aneurysm within the right coronary artery.
