Anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the
pulmonary artery (ALCAPA) is a very rare congenital
defect associated with myocardial ischemia, congestive
heart failure and death in the early period of life. Therefore,
it is uncommon for an ALCAPA patient to survive to
adulthood. In this article, we report a 36-year-old female
patient who was diagnosed with ALCAPA when we
investigated the reason for the left ventricular dysfunction.
