Between 1987 and 1994, 25 patients underwent surgical treatment due to pseudoaneurysm. Of the patients 84% (21) were male and 16% (4) were female ranging in age from 6 months to 62 years. in our report, the reasons of pscudoancurysms were previous surgical interventions in 14 (56%) cases, invasive radiologic procedures in 5 (20%) cases and vascular injuries in 5 (20%) cases. Etiology wasn't confirmed in one of the patients. The choice of technique for pseudoaneurysm repair depends on the location and size of the aneurysm. Lateral arteriorrhaphy was performed in 12 cases (48%). The technique of surgical management was reversed autogenous vein graft interposition in 6 (24%) cases, polytetrafluoroethylene prosthesis interposition in 5 (20%) cases and ligation in 2 (8%) cases. The incidence of amputation was 8% and two patients (8%) died after the surgical procedures.
