Generally used thoracotomy wound closing techniques; silk suture, subcutaneous polipropilen suture and sking stapling was compared to new wound closing by means of selfadhesive zip. Silk and polipropilen suture materials can easily be found everywhere. But silk has obvious infection risk. However polipropilen material should be used if infection exist. Skin stapler and self-adhesive are the materials very easy to use. Eventually, they shorten the operation and anesthesia time.
