Double Valve Replacement in A Patient Having Swyer-James, Macleod (Hyperlucent Unilateral Lung) Syndrome

Swyer-James, MacLeod or Unilateral Hyperlucent Lung is one of the very few diseases which
was suspected by the detection of the hyperlucency of öne lung or one lobe in the routinely obtained chest radiography. The diagnosis is made after broncoscopic, radiographic and angiographic
investigations. In this paper, the succesfull surgical treatment and clinical course of a case with
MacLeod syndrome to whom open heart surgery was performed for his heart valve disease, was
presented.
