WILMS TUMOR WITH EXTENSION TO THE INFERIOR VENA CAVA AND RIGHT ATRIUM

It has been indicated in the literature that a tumoral thrombus related to Wilms' tumor can extend to vena cava inferior and in a small rate to right atrium. In such a case, first, a biopsy
specimen should be taken and than using computerize tomography or magnetic resonance ımaging a diagnosis and staging should be made. Later preoperative chemotherapy and a surgical resection should be considered. Cardiopulmonary bypass are usually the perefered technics.
