Double-chambered right ventricle is a rare cardiac anomaly in adulthood. A 43-year-old female patient was admitted to our hospital for complaints of dyspnea and chest pain. She was diagnosed as having a double-chambered right ventricle and atrial septal defect. Proximal right ventricular chamber pressure was 100 mmHg, while pressures in the pulmonary artery and the distal right ventricular chamber were 22 mmHg. A right atriotomy and longitudinal right ventricular outflow tract incision were performed and her patent foramen ovale was closed. The muscular formation dividing the right ventricle into two compartments was successfully removed. No gradient remained after surgery.
