An arterial and venous graft holder for coronary artery bypass grafting
An arterial and venous graft holder for coronary artery bypass grafting

A new arterial and venous graft holder is designed for use
during proximal and distal anastomosis in coronary artery
bypass grafting. The device consists of a flexible arm
and a handler. The handler is composed of three parts: a
T-shaped body, an atraumatic clip for holding the graft,
and a coronary probe attached with an adjustable fixation
screw to the body. While the handler can easily be used by
another surgeon, it can also be attached to the flexible arm.
It facilitates opening the heel of the graft and making the
most difficult stitches of the anastomosis. This new instrument
provides an excellent exposure and a more comfortable
anastomosis.
