A 58-year-old female patient who was scheduled for liver
transplantation due to cryptogenic cirrhosis was diagnosed
with severe aortic stenosis. She underwent a combined
procedure of bioprosthetic aortic valve replacement and
living donor liver transplantation, which was performed
for the first time in Turkey. Postoperative course was
uneventful and both bioprosthetic aortic valve and liver
graft functions were normal at six months postoperatively.
