Pharyngoesophageal reconstruction using free jejunal autograft transplantation is one of the first free tissue transplants. The low success rate of this technique at the beginning interrupted its use for some time. However todays microvascular technique and instrumentation allowed us to reconsider this transplantation. Free jejunal autograft was transplanted to hipopharynx and cervical oesophagus for reconstruction in a hipopharynx Ca patient in out clinics. Our success relied on preventation of ischemia with blood flow by means of vascular anastomosis made by microvascular technique.
