Excision of aneurysm and ent-to-end anastomosois was performed to a case with hepatic artery aneurysm 2x3 cm. in size. Flow at the hepatic artery was found to be normal at postoperatie doppler ultrasonographic examination.
Hepatic artery aneurysm is found to be in the second rank following splenic artery aneurysm in the literature as visceral artery aneurysms are concerned. Patients' complaints are enerally not specific to the aneurysm. Diagnosis is commonly put on laparotomy after the rupture of the aneurysm. All the aneurysms of hepatic artery should be operated primarily because of this mortal complication.
