Succes of hemodialysis program in pediatric cases depends
on a good working vascular access. Results and complications
of vascular access in children are similar with invasive
vascular intervention in adults. We detected venous aneurysms
secondary to arteriovenous fistula in our two pediatric
cases. Two cases in pediatric age group with venous aneurysm
secondary to arteriovenous fistula which are rarely seen
in this age group were admitted to our clinic with complaints
of pain, swelling and ischemia on arm. We repaired surgically
venous aneurysm secondary to arteriovenous fistula in
pediatric age group at early phase like in adults; for relief of
complaints and preventing possible complications.
