Fistulae between coronary arteries and cardiac chambers
are a rare and surgical intervention-requiring pathology. In
this article, we present a 73-year-old male patient admitted
to our clinic with fatigue and dyspnea. On examination
with echocardiography and coronary angiography arteriovenous
fistula communication between the right coronary
artey and right ventricle was detected. Isolation and ligation
of the fistula was performed through sternotomy on
a beating heart. The patient was discharged on the fifth
postoperative day without any complication.
