Seventy-eight peripheral arterial aneurysms were evaluated retrospectively in this study between the years 1979-1996 that admitted to Uludağ Uniuversity Medical faculty, Cardiovascular Surgery depart- ment. Fifty four false aneurysms (69 %) and 24 true aneurysms {31 %) were obtained. Femoral artery was the mostly affected artery. % 35 of the cases also had cardiovascular disease and hypertension.
