Chest X-ray is the firstline diagnostic tool to diagnose
pulmonary diseases. Chest X-rays are usually interpreted
by the treating physicians. It is important to examine
the X-rays as a whole to avoid any missing of the
concomitant pathologies. In this article, we present an
18-year-old male case of pneumonia in the right lower
lobe and parapneumonic pleural effusion presenting with
contralateral pneumothorax.
