Esophageal leiomyoma is the most common benign
esophageal tumor. Thoracoscopic enucleation is currently a
preferred approach for the most of these lesions. Although
many reports are available in the English literature, no
reports has been published in the Turkish literature so far.
In this article, we reported a case of a 69-year-old female
with a leiomyoma of the esophagus enucleated using videoassisted
thoracic surgery.
