In three patients, magnetic resonance (MR) imaging was performed after proved acute myocardial infarction. Wall thinning and regional myocardial dysfunction were observed on the cine MR images in two patients. One patient had a thrombosis of giant aneurysm in the left ventricle. In these three cases, we concluded that the use of spine echo and cine MR images accurately determines localization and extent of regional dysfunction with complications in the infarcted myocardial tissue.
