In this study we aimed to evaluate, the validity of right precordial (V3R-V6R) ST segment elevation in the early diagnosis of acute right ventricular myocardial infarction (RVMI) in 27 patients. In the group of eight patients who lad ST segment elevations greater than or equal to 1 mm in V3R-V6R, right ventricular end-diastolic pressure (RVEDP) and right atrial mean pressure (RAPm) found to be significantly high (p<0.001, p<0.001) indicating right ventricular dysfunction. Other clinical data were in plight to support the formers. In conclusion we decided that detection of right precordial (V3R-V6R) ST segment elevations may give way to the early diagnosis of dominant RVMI.
