Coronary Bypass and Aortic Valve Surgery in a Patient with Pituitary Adenoma: A case reports

Coronary bypass and aortic valve surgery in a patient with pituitary adenoma is reported. Surgery was carried out using standard operative techniques, and triple coronary bypass, and aortic valve replacement with mechanical prosthesis of St. Jude was performed. He was monitorized with several parameters for the early recognition of pituitary apoplexy. Postoperative course was uneventful 3 months after the initial operation a succesful hypophysectomy was performed.
