A 40-year-old man was admitted to our hospital with the complaints of headache, fatigue, fever, palpitation and sweating. The patient had undergone external fixation operation due to traumatic tibia and fibula fracture six mounths ago. The determination of a guide wire in venous system was established by teleradiography and abdominal x-ray. Inguinal exploration was performed and guide wire was removed by venotomy.
