Spontaneous pneumomediastinum is generally the result of rupture of peripherial alveoles which occurs after excessive valsalva maneuvier, young male and fertile female are generally affected. Traumatic pneumomediastinum is very rare. In this study, we aim to present a 20-year old male patient who had pneumomediastinum and diffuse subcutaneous emphysema following blunt eye trauma onto the left eye. Therefore, we want to discuss this case in order to inform that blunt eye trauma may be one of the causes of pneumomediastinum.
