Arteriosclerotic aneurysms of the axillary artery are very rare. A 69-year-old male patient presented with complaints of numbness in the right upper extremity and forearm and a swelling in the axilla. He had a nine-year history of aneurysmectomy with graft interpositioning for a left-sided axillary artery aneurysm. A giant axillary artery aneurysm was detected by Doppler ultrasonography (40x50 mm) and dynamic computed tomography of the thorax (44 mm). Under general anesthesia, the aneurysm was resected. Histopathologic examination showed arteriosclerotic degenerative changes. Following an uneventful course, the patient was discharged on the seventh postoperative day.
