Hydatid cyst disease is an endemic disease in our country
and is generally located in the liver and the lungs. Soft
tissue, intramuscular, and subcutaneous location is rare. In
this article, we report a subcutaneous right thorax hydatid
cyst case without any other primary disease. The cyst was
extirpated. The cyst was opened outside the operation area
and its germinal membrane was observed, and hydatid cyst
disease was diagnosed with histopathological examination.
As the hydatid cyst is endemic in our country, it should
be considered, especially in the diagnosis of soft tissue
masses.
