In spite of the fact that significant progresses have been achieved in the medical treatment methods, there are various surgical methods which can be performed in that group of patients. In this paper we have summerized such methods with the recent advances as in the groups of extending the indications of coronary bypass and other open heart surgical procedures, dynamic cardiomyoplasty, Batista operation, TMR (Transmyocardial Laser Revascularisation), IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump), left heart bypass method, mechanical assist devices, artificial heart and cardiac transplantation.
