A case of osteochondroma of the rib

Thirty-year-old male patient had a mass lesion on the 3rd
rib. The mass lesion was resected with the subtotal resection
of the 3rd rib via axillary thoracotomy. The postoperative
course was uneventful, and follow-up at two years confirmed
no recurrence. Here we report an osteochondroma
originates from the rib which is an unusual localisation.
