BAKER'S CYSTS MIMICKING THE SYMPTOMS OF DEEP VEIN THROMBOSIS

The finding of calf swelling on physical examination can
present a diffucult diagnostic problem. The most commom swelling seen in the popliteal fossa are deep vein thrombosis and ruptured Bakers cyst. They have been known that Bakers cysts mimic the symptoms of deep vein thrombosis in lower extremities.
We present a case of with Bakers cyst who has clinical
diagnosis of DVT and was made oral anticoagulant therapy,
