Seven patients with giant lymph node hyperplasia
were treated between 1982 and 1994 in Atatürk
Chest Disease and Thoracic Surgery Center. In six of
cases the lesions were located in intrathoracic and in
one in the cervical regions. Histopathologic diagnosis were reported as hyaline vascular type in six
cases and as plasrna cell type in the case with the cervical located lesion. We performed total excision in
six cases and subtotal excision in one case. in six cases
with total excision the treatments were curative.
Other case is still under our follow up without evidence of any recurrence.
