The case of a 37-year-old man complaining of angina pectoris has been reported in whom a coronary artery involvement resulting from Takayasu’s arteritis was diagnosed by coronary arteriography and histopathologic analysis.

From 1961 to 1993, 64 patients, including our patient have been reported to undergo operations for coronary artery disease due to Takayasu’s arteritis.

The purpose of this collective review is to summarize teh results of previously reported 64 cases, in addition to our patient and to discuss the potentially difficult problems of surgical treatment of this rare involement of Takayasu’s arteritis.
