Lifte threatening emergencies, including perforation of the heart or vena cava associated with the use of subclavian hemodialysis catheters, have been reported. During subclavian vein cannulation for hemodialysis, it is possible to be some iatrogenic (technical) complications like as pneumothorax or haemothorax. After hemodialysis was terminated and removing inefective subclavian catheter, it is very rare to be any complicaiton.
We have presented on unusual case of subclavian hemodialysis catheter fragment removal from the right atrium.
