Abstract
During last two decades, endovascular techniques have become a popular method in the treatment of aortic aneurysms. One of important factors in endovascular aneurysm repair is the technological and technical improvements in the devices used. Problems that are associated with the stent-grafts, such as the conversion of the patient to open repair and/or the endoleaks that can even result in rupture of the aneurysm, still remains as an issue that should be considered. This article attempts to reveal these problems and innovative ideas which may contribute to the solution of these problems.
