Abstract
Sleeve resections in central tumors is a surgical method
preferred over pneumonectomy owing to its parenchymasparing
features. With the increasing surgical experience and
developing technology in recent years, sleeve resections can
be performed using the video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery
method. However, these resections are technically challenging
and require significant experience. In this review, we discuss
sleeve resections with video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery in
the light of the literature.
