An unusual systemic arteriovenous malformation
demonstrated by angiography arising from the left
subclavian artery and eventually draining into the
left subclavian vein; presented itself as a soft, pulsatile swelling in the dorsal chest wall. The excision of
the tumor was carried on by a two-staged-singleoperation. The first stage included surgical ligation of the arterial blood supply and venous drainage of the tumor. In the second step, complete resection of the tumor mass was achieved successfully without any significant perioperative complication.
