Cardiac leiomyosarcoma is a rare tumour and its prognosis is dismal. Surgery lengthens survival, but recurrences usually occur in the short term. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is useful for the assessment of cardiac masses. We present the postoperative MRI findings of a case of a recurrent left atrial leiomyosarcoma.
