The Marfan syndrome is characterized with qualitative and quantitative disorders in fibrillin syntese that is constituent glycoprotein of microfibrils, due to the defect of the fibrillin gene (FBN1) localised in chromosome 15. Nicolo Paganini (1782-1840), Italian composer and the best known violin virtuose of the XIX. century, can be thought as Marfan syndrome with the skeletal findings, which were described by his doctors, and his utmost and superb violin style.
