Ascending aortic aneurysm is a rare complication of Behçet’s disease. A 33-year-old male patient underwent surgery for ascending aortic aneurysm that also involved the aortic root. At surgery, he had a rigid and thickened bicuspid aortic valve whose mobility was restricted. Aortic root replacement was performed with a composite graft using the Bentall procedure with the button technique. Button, proximal, and distal anastomoses were reinforced using Teflon felt strips and tissue adhesives. Postoperative echocardiographic findings were normal. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography at six months showed no signs of complications including false or true aneurysms. Histopathologic examination of the aortic tissue specimens showed lymphocytic perivasculitis consisted with Behçet’s disease.
