Tumors of the great vessels are rarely seen. Thanks to
improved diagnostic modalities, a higher number of cases
are diagnosed and treated surgically. The histological
and morphological characteristics and clinical symptoms
of these tumors may vary, which is associated with the
pattern of the tumor growth. These lesions may be related
to embolic events and aneurysm formation. Resection of
the tumor may prolong the life of the patient. In this article,
we present a 38-year-old female case with a primary
leiomyosarcoma in the descending aorta.
