70% of the cardiac tumors are benign. Majority of them are myxomas. 80-90% of the myxomas are located in the left atrium, less freqently in the right atrium. When compared the right atrial myxoma with the left atrial myxoma, right atrial myxomas are more solid and have larger based attachment to inter atrial septum or atrial wall. In this case report we wolud like to present a fourty six years old with right atrial myxoma woman who admitted to the with coughing. A right atrial myxoma was diagnosed by echocardiography. The myxoma was excised with normal atrial septal cuff. Postoperative period was uneventful. No pathologic finding was found at the sixth months control.
