Pulmonary hydatid disease is still a serious problem for our country. Surgery is the principal mode of treatment, but medical therapy have been tried for 15 years. Because of lungs are opened organs to atmosphere, this treatment modelity is not sufficient for complete cure even if some authors say the opposite. Hydatid cysts which loose their liveliness become more complicated. These complications can be sorted as, recurrence infections, abscess formation, hemoptysis and bronchiectasy.

In our case, we found out chronic granulamatouse inflammation in cystic cavity after albendazol therapy.
