Textiloma is a rare complication of thoracic surgery. A 41-
year-old male underwent surgery for bullous disease. A follow-
up chest radiograph showed a mass lesion in the lower
zone of the left hemithorax. Computed tomography-guided
transthoracic biopsy was performed and the histopathological
result was reported as suture material. The foreign body
was removed with thoracotomy.
