A persistent left superior vena cava in conjunction with
a absent right superior vena cava is a very rare anomaly
of venous circulation. In this article, we present a fouryear-
old girl with a persistent left superior vena cava
opening into a dilated coronary sinus and an absent right
superior vena cava accompanied by a perimembraneous
outlet ventricular septal defect which were corrected using
cardiopulmonary bypass surgery.
